New New Festival is a new music showcase event in Dallas, Texas, taking place over 11 days from March 10-20, 2023.

The event started as a few simple spillover shows in 2022 and is now growing into Dallas' largest music showcase event.

The festival includes showcases at venues throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. We organize and curate many of the shows, but also invite other promoters and curators to join the festival with their own events that show off new talent.

Our Ethos:

We are focused on supporting emerging acts that we feel are making waves and growing, and getting them in front of audiences eager to find their new favorite bands.

Unlike most festivals, we aren’t focused too much on headliners. We are 100% about shining a light on the acts that we believe are tomorrow’s stars and the raw talent we feel needs attention. Many shows at the festival are at venues and locations with built-in audiences, so we don’t have to worry too much about draw either. We want artists to just come do their thing and enjoy some great audiences and southern hospitality.

Why New New Festival?

For those playing SXSW, we are a great extra stop on your run, and a relaxing breath of fresh air versus the chaos of Austin. It’s a short 3-4 hour drive north up I-35 for you.

For locals and regional acts, come be a part of what we are building - an important step in strengthening our city’s music infrastructure, creating opportunities for everyone.

Dallas vs Austin: The Dallas / Fort Worth metro is the 4th largest in the US, with over 7.7M population. Although Austin markets itself as the “Live Music Capital Of The World”, you’d be surprised to learn that Dallas actually has more live music venues, more shows, and sells more tickets. We have 3.5x the population of Austin, so by coming to Dallas you’re exposed to a much larger set of fans.
